The Track, Karts & Race
WhiteRiver Park is Ireland’s newest purpose-built outdoor karting track. Measuring 1.2km in length, it has to be seen to be believed, including both high speed and technical sections with huge elevation & camber changes as it winds its way across side both sides of a rolling valley. The result is a smooth, challenging, undulating circuit that is like nothing you have driven before!
Teesside Karting are the world leaders in rental kart endurance racing. Their fleet of BIZ LeMans 400cc Pro-Karts are expertly maintained and only used for 24 hour race events. The karts have a large front fairing which can be personalised to make your team and sponsors stand out. When you enter the race, the kart is serviced and repaired by Teesside's team, all you have to do is concentrate on your driving and strategy!
There will be an optional test day in the Pro-Karts on the Friday of the race. A one-hour practice will begin at 10a.m. on Saturday 25th September with the "Le Mans" running race start at 12p.m. The opening few hours are always frantic, before drivers settle into their machines towards the evening. After the flood-lights come on, mandatory service stops take place in the small hours as teams race towards the dawn. Finally, after 24 hours of non stop racing, competitors will take the chequered flag at 12p.m. on Sunday May 31st with the podium celebrations commencing at 1p.m.
